I have a 2004 Toyota Highlander Front-wheel drive. I feel a slight thump in the steering wheel when I turn it almost all the way right or left. Any ideas?

Get it on a lift ASAP. There may be a broken or slipped steel belt or bulge in the sidewall of one of your tires. If its vibration you're feeling in the steering wheel or seats, usually one of your aluminum wheels have tossed a balance weight.
