It sounds like burning, discomfort or discomfort once you urinate or stunning after. you apart from mght experience such as you may desire to urinate badly, yet once you bypass it fairly is basically a splash. Drink a great sort of drinks without caffeine. do no longer drink gentle beverages. Drink cranberry juice (Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice Cocktail has 10% cranberry juice it rather is the minimum) and take cranberry pills till you may get to the well being practitioner. the only thank you to be responsive to for valuable is to get examined. If it fairly is an infection the well being practitioner provides you with antibiotics and a few pills that kill the discomfort of urinary tract infections. bypass to the well being practitioner! it fairly is going to easily worsen and then it fairly is rather painful. Been there.

Put into the search engines Alka-Seltzer and UTI you will be amazed at how many sites speak about the instant cures they have gotten from Alka Seltzer.
I have had so many UTI I am 44 now and have been getting them since I was 15. This last one I caught right away and decided to try for myself this crazy claim. And I kid you not by the next morning after drinking 2 extra strength tablets disolved in cold water. I was so scared I did it again for 2 more days just in case but it claims it gets rid of it in one dose. Even when I take the best Antibiotics I still suffer the Muscles spassams for days even after the infection is gone and my labs say I am cured.
But with the Alka Seltzer the pain spassams were gone in 12-24 hours.

Antibiotics are used to treat a urinary tract infection - a full seven days of them.
There are over-the-counter medicines that help relieve the discomfort of an infection, but DON'T treat them - only antibiotics can do that.
Brand names include AZO and Uristat. They are available at most department stores and pharmacies.
Also, Vitamin C and plenty of water will help speed recovery.

What do you mean the "medicine doesn't work?" It's a very common infection, so it's unlikely that that the doctor prescribed the wrong medicine. If you're saying that the symptoms won't go away - they won't go away right after you take the medicine...you have to wait a while before the symptoms disappear. If you still have the symptoms after a few days, go to another doctor.

Cranberry juice helps. It is best to use pure cranberry, not a blended juice. I find it to be very tart so I dilute it with water.
If you have a full blown infection, though, you need to see a Dr. Untreated, it could get worse and lead to kidney problems as well.

You may have to go back to your Dr. as some infections will not clear up without an antibiotic. Macrodantin works well on UTI's. Ways to avoid UTI'S--wear cotton underware; use only white toilet paper. In baths, don't use bubble bath. Don't use feminine hygiene sparys or soaps with perfumes in them. Always try to keep the vaginal area dry--change underware during the day if you need to. A&D ointment is good to apply to the vaginal area. Hope this helps you.

Hmmm antibiotics need to be taken to clear this up. Try drinking a lot of cranberry juice that helps alot. But please don't let it go "untreated" because it could very well be a UTI today but a kidney infection before you know it. This just happened to me, so I am telling you that from experience. I just finished my antibiotics on Tuesday. Good luck hun.
