What cycle day was Saturday? Contrary to popular opinion, you usually ovulate 10-16 days prior to the END of your cycle, but no set time after the beginning of your cycle.

You obviously know that the eggwhite-like cervical fluid is the most fertile and usually shows up right before ovulation. Usually, the cervical fluid will dry up considerably when you ovulate, so if Sunday and following you were back to dry or nearly dry conditions, you most likely ovulated Saturday or Sunday.

The best time for baby-making intercourse is in the days before ovulation (sperm can live for 1-5 days at the most and will be waiting for the egg when it's released) and the day of ovulation. The egg will only live 6-24 hours, so if you had eggwhite Saturday and no intercourse until Tuesday, you most likely missed your window :(

BUT, if you had intercourse anywhere in the 5 days before (preferably only 2-3 days before) there's still a good chance that the little guys were there waiting on your egg.

Good luck!

Most web sites and books that discuss cervical fluid say that the egg white fluid happens right before ovulation and drys up the day after ovulation. However women who have hormonal problems can ovulate when they have dry cervical fluid. The chances of conceiving if your fluid is dry is very slim.

Based on what you said and what I have read you ovulated around Sat, so you can't conceive on Tues.

What??? I've never heard of the egg white thing but you usually ovulate about 14 days after your period. But that is not the only time you can get pregnant. So try every night. At least you get to enjoy it until you have a baby!! LOL. Good luck.
