Don't worry and don't hesitate to see a doctor as soon as you can. If you have it checked early you should have little trouble, but if you wait any longer ... ~ ♥ Make sure your clothes are double rinsed instead of using fabric softener.

There are probably a few more questions you should answer before anyone can really tell you whether they have had this before and know what it is . Do you wear nylon or cotton underwear? Nylon underwear does not allow any air to that area and for that reason you may be more prone to yeast infections.
I know you said you are young, but do you have your period?
I remember I used to get horrible rashes from using "Always". It had something to do with their lining. And it would last much longer than my period would.
You might clean too well. If you are using some sort of scrubby with your soap, it might be causing an irritation and then you just scrub more and it gets worse. Take it easy on that area, it can be very sensitive.
Allow as much air as possible to the area, but you should really see a doctor. If you really have never had any contact with a guy in that area, including oral, you could probably rule out herpes. Be sure you are honest with everyone involved, especially if someone is doing things to you that they say are okay and not to tell anyone.
This could be as simple as an allergic reaction to the soap you are using or that your clothes fit too tightly.
Definitely talk to someone you trust about this, if you do not feel comfortable with someone in your family, go to your school nurse. You can be seen by a doctor without a family member there if this is due to some sort of abuse--not accusing, just covering all bases.
If you are young, take care of this now so that there is not some sort of underlying condition that might affect you when you get older.
Good luck!

It is probably a yeast or bacterial infection. It can be caused by dampness, wearing panties that are not cotton, wet swimwear, or even an allergic reaction to soap, laundry detergent or body wash.

Very important, make sure you always wipe from front to back, to avoid transferring bacteria into that area from your butt. (sounds gross, I know, but it is the biggest cause of bacterial infection)

Also if you recently started getting your period, your body is adjusting to all the new hormones and the dampness, too.

Get some Ivory soap or baby wash, and use that when you shower. Don't use the same towel or washcloth as someone else, and don't use the same towel and washcloth for more than a few days. In fact I would avoid using a washcloth in that area because they can irritate and hold germs. Rinse very well, and dry very well.

Wear only cotton panties - thongs are ok as long as they are cotton but try not to wear them every day.

Don't use deodorant tampons or pads. Be sure to change your tampon or pad frequently.

Don't use powders or perfumes in that area. If you shower daily and wear cotton panties you should not have a problem with odor. A healthy adult woman's vagina has a slight odor - this is normal.

Either way, talk to your mom and tell her what's going on, and ask her to take you to the doctor for a checkup.

Hope that helps, sweetie!

This could be an infection, or it could just be irritation. This is gross, but is there a funny smell or any white stuff down there?

Be careful when you wash - there's good bacteria there too! Soaps can also cause irritation and redness.

You can try an over-the-counter cream available in stores near the women's sanitary section, or make a trip to the doctor. If you try to ignore it and it's an infection, it will only get worse.

I used Boudreoux's with my son and it worked large! the in reality time it didnt artwork and clean each little thing up became even as the Dr. informed me that he had a yeast an infection from being on alot of antibiotics for his ears. in case you'll discover the boudreoux's identity attempt that and it it doesnt clean up in 2-3 days identity take her again to the Dr. to make certain if its something more suitable severe than a diaper rash, until eventually then you definately could also get some baking soda and placed alittle in a warmth bath to help soothe her. wish it truly works and he or she receives more suitable positive!! reliable luck!!

Maybe your undergarments are too tight and could possibly be rubbing the wrong way causing a skin irritation. Or has your mom changed the laundry soap, or have you started using a new type of soap??? Different things can cause skin irritations... and yes they can happen anywhere. Don't be scarred to talk to your mom, I am sure she can help out.

It could be a yeast infection, or a reaction to a new detergent or fabric softener. Honey, tell your mom and see if she can take you to see a doctor. It's embarassing but you'll have to do that once a year in the future anyway, and there's no sense in suffering like that if you don't have to!

well, is it itchy also? do you have a discharge that is abnormal in color or texture or is smelly? if you have the above, then you could have a yeast infection(dont worry, its treatable and most girls will get it eventually) if not, then if you have used pads lately then you could be having a reaction to the deoderized pads rubbing against your vaginal area.you should see a gynecologist and get a pap smear while you are there.(just in case)

it depends.. but maybe the undies that you wore causes that..dont wear pantishield this days and wear cotton panties not made of silk.. its not funny.. and dont be shy..maybe your skin is sensitive.. buy a feminine hygiene or its better if you are going to consult it with your doctor.. since you had it for 2 weeks.. its better dont wipe it with tissue this time while it still hurts =)
