How many people on here like the Colorado Avalanche? And who do you think about them getting Scott parker and the Ducks goalie?

They look like they could be a fun team to watch in the next few years along with the penguins and kings because of the young talent.

I Love the Avs!
Scott Parker was a replacement (temporary) for Brad May. The Avs just picked him up to protect their stars (Stasney, Hedjuk, Sakic etc) from getting beat up on.
I think it was a bad move by the Avs, since they still have Cody McCormick in Albany (AHL) who is a fighter/tough guy, also Rycroft and Lappy can fight as good (and play better) then Parker. Thus trading for Parker was a waste of a pick.
As for Wall he seems like a decent goalie he will probably end up sharing AHL time with Lawson if he even makes the NHL it will be backing up Budja.

I like Ben Guite. I watched him play when he was with the Tallahassee TigerSharks in the ECHL. I think the Avs would have been fine without Scott Parker. Don't know enough about the goalie to comment on him.

gotta root for the home team, it's nice to get parker back, hopefully next season we will have dumped jose . budaj will have the starting job. wall is a season or two from being a backup so kolesnik should be called up soon. GO AVS!

I hate tha Ave's
all i know is that the Wings are going to win the cup with Bertuzzi and kyle Calder.
those are huge pick ups for the wings to beat the Ave's
