Anyone calling themselves a psychic is a liar and cheat, but there are people who are excellent at reading the body language of pets and can tell a great deal about their state of mind by watching them move.
Remember, pets have almost no functional memory as you would think of it, and they think in images (sight, sound and smell), and emotional reactions (fear, hunger, excitement). To really find out how animals think read a book by Temple Granden called "Animals in Translation: Using the Mysteries of Autism to Decode Animal Behavior". It is incredibly eye opening, like Cesar Milan on steroids, and you will understand your animals unbelievably well after reading it. You will seem psychic!
