For instance, think about the intelligence we perceive in animals. Apparently, monkeys and dolphins demonstrate to have a very sophisticated capacity of memory and intelligence in experiments. We show much more consideration for an animal such as a monkey, than to animals we eat such as chickens. Do you think we should value an animal who shows greater intelligence as more important than to an animal who doesn't?

We all play an equally important role in the universe and intelligence should not be based on importance. Nothing/no one is more important than another.

An animal's value depends on how you think. For instance, an elephant in India is more valuable than a chicken because a lot of folks' livelihood depends on that elephant. A chicken, however, can have more value in Africa than an elephant because people are starving there.......and some people eat MONKEYS........If I was hungry and had nothing to eat, I'd eat the first thing I could find whether it walked, crawled, hopped, flew, scurried, swam or slithered. Dolphin, anyone?

Funny, apparently you've decided that the value of a person's opinion is determined by their age. (Oh come on! Did no one else spot this!) I suppose you imposed the age limit to ensure a certain modicum of intelligence in the answers that you would receive.
Unfortunately for you, I am under your age "limit", and so, my genius, wit and well thought out opinion on this issue will be withheld from you for the next three years.
By the way...it should read "have demonstrated a very" rather than "demonstrate to have a very", just a helpful hint.

This Shouldn't apply to us. They aren't our own kind. Besides, we don't even eat monkeys or dolphins so why should we care? just leave them alone. Chickens on the other hand, kill em and grill em.

No, I guess that all animals should be treated equally. I guess, also though, that not everyone is about to give up eating meat.
