cops spun this maniac out of controll to stop him, subsequntially crippling him for life...but...
If the cops had'nt stoped him, and he killed someone at the next intersection, then the Liberal media would be attacking the officer for not doing his job.

it's easy to say the cops overreacted AFTER the fact. If the lights come on you did something wrong pull over and take your friggin $75 ticket for being a jerk. if you run well so far im for the guy who says cops should be allowed to shoot you in the head

He is allowed a lawyer by law.
He shouldn't win a liability suit. Any injury you get while running from the cops is your own damn fault.
If you run.. the cops should be allowed to shoot you in the head to stop you.

The police are allowed to stop fleeing vehicles reckoning on the reason and the circumstances. If a criminal is in touch then the police can use somewhat some skill to stop the vehicle. even nevertheless it certainly relies upon on the departments pursuit coverage. that's what should be regarded at. If the officer accompanied coverage, then there is little you're able to do. He replaced into following the regulation and branch regulations. If no longer then you fairly could desire to have a case.

of course he gets a lawyer , this is America . what was original offense that he ran from ? if the cops thought he robbed a bank or killed someone , i think the cops were right . but if he ran a stop sign or some minor stuff , then they overreacted .

He deserves a lawyer as I'm sure he's being charged with all KINDS of felonies...even if he IS paralyzed. That's the way our system works. What I hope he doesn't get is an ambulance chaser.
