Yeah, I think they are made in China. The only brand I know of that is not made in china is babolat (france), at least it used to be. Oh and head is made in the Czech Republic.

I don't know of any major brand racket model that is not made in China.

As for counterfeit product, I haven't heard of that being an issue. I'm sure you can find some 'B' grade or cosmetic blem product around the factory where these rackets are made, but you shouldn't have a problem if you're going through a reputable retailer for your purchase.
