The human race has fought wars all through history for one reason or the other. Some wars were fought for land, some in the name of honor. There are no 'good' wars, there are only wars.
If a nation is going to declare 'war' on another nation, it is a good idea to be sure we believe in what we are fighting for. If we do not agree then let us be sure that we are fighting to win.
The way to stop war is to do as President Teddy Roosevelt said, "Talk softy and carry a very big stick." :-)

to stop war, both sides need to be willing to come to an agreement or compromise... which will never happen, politically speaking... if we are speaking of war between individuals or families, then the compromise can be made; unless you are romeo and juliet, in which case, both children had to die for the families to realize the destruction of their ways...

yes we can
1) we can get enough people to sign a paper which declares to impeach ( fire) the president.
2) we can just wait like some stupid assez that dont care about the country------(no affence to anybody)---------
3) we can go on strike--which izn't a good idea because of wat the prez. said in his interview by channel 47 (local-Fresno, CA) thizz is wat he said,'' I will not change my mind about the war on iraq. I do not care if more than half the country does not agree with me. I will do wat my fellow rebublican tell me +my dissision.''
