Israel has 100-400 nuclear weapons completely unregulated by the IAEA. What a crass double standard to criticize Iran when this violent, aggressive Jewish state threatens all of its neighbors with nuclear blackmail.

Well, Matt, the 'its against international law' argument is flimsy. Iran could simply withdraw from the treaty. And since when has Israel EVER respected international law?

Iran does not have a nuclear weapon program, they have a nuclear program for energy...and right now they are not doing anything illegal...Everyone is asking Iran to give up something they have every right to...As for withdrawing from the treaty, well this would be a really strong reason for US to attack Iran...because by withdrawing from the treaty no one would be able to inspect the nuclear sites...
Israel didn't sign the NNPT so no one can verify if they have nuclear weapons or not.But Olmert admitted last year that Israel has nukes,by saying that "Iranians were aspiring to have nuclear weapons as America, France, ISRAEL, Russia"...International community's reaction?"Olmert was misunderstood"...But I guess this is what it happens when you have the support of the strongest country in the world...
Iran never attacked any country,Israel attacked all the countries surrounding it...Also Israel used uranium bombs last summer in Lebanon, and yet Iran is a great danger...

Iran has to give up its nuclear weapons program because George W. Bush sez so. Since when has the world ever been fair anyway. The issue is a no-brainer, the only way a crack pot like Adinamajad should be allowed a nuke, is if the U.S. gives him one, and Tehran is ground zero. The space cadets who pull that puppets strings are worse than the ones working Bush's.
International Law? Give me a break, nations make laws, nobody has the right to govern the whole world, even if the EU's parent organization is trying to create a "New World Order", it hasn't happened yet. There is no such thing as "International Law", because there isn't an organization strong enough to enforce it's will on the entire world........yet.
Without a nuclear threat, the Jewish state wouldn't last a week, and even if most Arabs think Israel should be abolished, the blogbaba still remembers Sir Han Sir Han and the clip of the Palestinians celebrating on the west bank on 9/11. Not exactly the best way to garner American sympathy for their cause.

that's classic America contradicting its self.her reasons for wanting Iran to stop its uranium enrichment is that if it develops nuclear weapons it is a threat for invading neighboring countries.but it fails to see that Israel attacked all neighboring countries (and got its ass kicked by them).but now Israel realized they cannot win on man to man combat so they took a different approach which is nuclear blackmail to rob even more land from countries. so if Israel nuke a country America dose not want anybody to respond to Israel by also using nuke.but Iran saw this disadvantage so it wants to develop nukes so it can respond to Israel for using nukes on other countries or even Iran.so that's why America dose not want Iran to develop nuclear weapons so Israel can have the upper hand. there is no evidence of Iran building a nuclear bomb and if they are they have every right to.

well if you know the exact number then I guess you're a super james bond-type spy cause they dont tell how many they have to the public. It is an issue of international law. iranians signed the non-nuclear proliferation treaty which means they cannot develope nuclear weapons. isreal, india, and pakistan did not. they can have them by law, iran can't. that simple.

To begin with, Israel is under the US umbrella, and Iran is not...Iran is a country that is challenging US policies any chance its gets...but if Iran becomes an US ally...sure they will be able to even drop nuclear boms on their enemies if the case arises...It sounds erratic and crazy but IT IS THER TRUTH....ask chaney....

I think its great Iran did such a great brave thing
because the sooner they all do it the more friendlier the world will be &
Iran will get tourists when they get real friendly &
that will be great for them because their country will at last be happy with no fear of rotten war
I'm no one but I don't think America would ever use their weapon FIRST if not ever
