Because there are many people around you that you would hurt more than you know. Also, you can ALWAYS make a better life for yourself! And just remember.. God put you on this earth for a reason!

What's the matter, honey?
You sound not only depressed, but stuck. I feel for you. I've been there.
What happened to you anyway? Did you just suffer some kind of trauma?
Use all available resources to make your life a whole lot better. Read books-fiction, non-fiction, join clubs, talk to someone who is willing to listen, write your thoughts and feelings in a diary. Take a trip. Take a course ( a fun course). Look at your strengths. Use your talents. If it's work, think of doing a career change. Workout at a gym or do some kind of exercise. Exercise produces those feel-good hormones. Take good vitamins- I highly recommend St. John's wort to alleviate the depressed symptoms you may have, because they tend to help and don't have all of those side effects.
Time to redefine your goals and design a road map on how to reach your goals. Goals are dreams with a deadline. You must have some sort of passion deep inside you screaming to come out. Email me if you'd like.
Lexi, you can email me too. I wish people on this site would be more gentle and actually give answers that would genuinely help.

I guess there is no point living a life that you have no use for and actually hate, so what are you going to do about it?
You've got a good opportunity here, if it can't get any worse, then it can only improve, right?
Take a risk and change your life, move away, find your place in the world, new people, new start, you can be whoever you want to be.
Don't get sucked into blaming anyone for what you've got now, get over that, it's done, take charge of the here and now, do something about it and you'll feel so much better about it all.

Because usually that life changes into one you love (or at least like) and will see as one with many reasons to cherish. It might turn back to sucky again, it's true, but then it probably will turn back to decent-to-fulfilling-to-great again. Life goes up and down. It never remains one thing all the time. The use of living your life while it feels terrible or useless is to get to the other times when it won't feel that way. And those times make all the others worth living through and even valuable.
I know it's really hard to imagine if you're in a bad place, especially if you've never been in a bad place and gotten beyond it before. But it really does happen. And when you do experience how much better it can get, the next time life dips down into the worst of times, you'll have that much more understanding that you just have to hold on through the garbage to get to the other side of it where things can please and comfort you again.
And at the very least, as someone else here has said, do it for the people who care about you. Even the most casual friend is more influenced by your life than you could ever realize, and the people who are closest to you rely on your being there in ways maybe even they don't understand. Your life really matters, even if it feels like it doesn't and is more trouble than it's worth. It's worth all the trouble it could give you, trust me.

If you hate your life change it. There's a lot of volunteering to do everywhere. It's a great feeling to know that you're helping someone else have a little bit better life. I know there's a lot of use for you, you just have to find it. I know I don't know you at all, but there is so much to live for. We are all special and we all have a place in this world, it's just that some people take a little more time finding what makes them feel needed. Don't give up, find your gifts and figure out what makes you feel good and dive in. There's plenty of opportunity. Good luck to you.

That's ALL bullshit! I'm sorry if I offend anyone, but that's bullshit! I get that **** handed to me daily! No more trying to "get things better" I see no point. There is no light at the end of the tunnel, there is no spaceship coming to rescue us from this world we, I hate to say but, this world we LIVE in. Either grit your teeth and hang on a little while longer, maybe something better will come along to make this life bearable. If not just go, no note, no nothing, just leave. BUT make that you last choice. It was my first choice for a long time. Till I decided that if good things are going to happen I need to make them happen. There will always be down times yes, but if you can stand them then just think life can't get any worse then this, right?

There is a use for you. There is a reason for each of us. Sometimes we lose our way, can't see the light, follow the path.. soo the best thing I've found to do is go VOLUNTEER.
yep, stop thinking about myself and my needs, go help someone eles. There are seniors in centers and homes all around the globe, alone, forgotten, lost. They need you!
There are children in hospitals, scared, alone, hurt, they need you!
Visit the VA hospitals. I've just begun doing that, it's amazing how much they need me! And you!
Go do something for others, then tell me how you feel. It's hard to be sad when you see someone smile simply because you walked in the room.
Go, you are needed.

We all have the most valuable posession of all, and that's life. Life may have its ups and downs, but there will be the good times. Although at times life seems to be the most worthless posession at the moment; people have to wait out until they find happiness in their lives. Besides without hatred and sadness, then we wouldn't appreciate happiness.

Life is pointless anyway, but since no one knows what death is like, ending something to gain something else that you have no idea what it could be,would be irrational.I know your life is probably sh*tty right now, but death could be a trillion times worse. Just ride this life 'thing' out for a while and it may get better. But what ever you do just remember life is pointless and it doesn't matter what any of us do, so have fun while it lasts, because it won't last long.

And when u do, don't expect the answers to come like the flood-gates had just opened... Relax and take your time.. I felt the same way at one point as u my friend.... Take your time, and relax.... The answers will come in hidden little messages....
