Both are great players and superstar in their teams. Though both cannot shoot free throw and turnover a lots as expected if they get the ball all the time. If I need to pick one, I will pick Dwight because he is a monster in rebound, FG%, and block. James is great and no doubt he is arguably one of the best players in the NBA at the moment but for now, I think Dwight has more benefit for the team than James.

Howard nothing against James but, Howard is just a better ballplayer and i think that if he had a chance to win the game like Bron Bron did against dallas thursday night he would have made it.
Howard all the time,

i haven't seen a team stop Dwight Howard yet. I'd take that monster over Lebron any day Lebron will satisfy the fans, Dwight will win you games

On my fantasy team i have both of them. Howard is a better rebounder and James scores more. If ur team needs more points and assists go with James if u need more rebounds and a higher FG% then take Howard.

I'm really starting to lean towards Dwight Howard after LeBron clunked those free throws against Dallas. LeBron's leadership skills are very questionable right now and it seems like he can't carry the Cavaliers like a real franchise player should be able to.

Both are superstars. But Lebron is a better ball-handler, harder to defend, a better passer, has more range, and can play at least three positions at a high level. Plus he has the ball more. I would want my superstar to handle the ball the majority of the time. If the game is on the line, and you're down by three, I don't think you will feel comfortable with Howard shooting from behind the arc. At least Lebron gives you a legimate chance to score it. If he can learn to hit clutch free-throws, he will be un-guardable.

LeBron because he can do it all; score, pass rebound
Howard is a great rebounder but needs to be set up for most of his points and his offensive game isn't there yet
LeBron is a #1 option while Howard is a supporting player
