Sounds like he was upset with his sister and destroyed some of her favorite toys. He needs to be disciplined for this destructive behavior with his sisters toys. Maybe apologize to her for breaking her toys and taking away some of his favorite toys for a long time. He needs to learn better ways of handling his anger at his sister.

I'd ask in a totally non-threatening way what they meant? Could be he is playing war in Iraq and acting out his distress at the daily news. Don't be alarmed about child play until you've made the effort to understand it. The only exception I can think of to that is the harm of helpless living things.

That sounds like an episode of Roseanne.Becky and Darlene had to clean DJ's room...and they found a box of disfigured Barbies under his bed...they ran to their Mom because they were alarmed. She stayed calm...she told that if that is all he was doing...he was OK.She made them put it back where it was...! lol...Good ol Rosie! ;) ha ha

Nah. He's fine. Does he have a sister?
I'm betting that all he did is take the arms and legs and heads off, right? Pop 'em back together, and give them back to his sister or neighbor or wherever they came from, tell him to cut it out, and move on with your life. He's just found a way to deal with his frustration with his sister without hitting her with a stick, I'm guessing. Which way would you rather he express himself?

Lad(maybe if you talk like that)..........Boys have a destructive side, especially around his age, more common if they are his sisters etc. because hey brothers like to torment their siblings. I would just ask him to put them back together since he already took them apart...or through them in the trash.

No, my brother used to do that all the time. It's nothing phsyco or suicidal. It's just when boys are little, they are going through the "cooties" stage and don't like girly stuff.

Nope. He is a young lad interested in how plastic dolls fit together. Of course, if they have knife marks or hair cut off, that's different....

it would shock me at first, and I would talk to him about it,see if I could find why they are there and why they are in the state they are. He's 6 remember, and he could have been doing it for no reason at all. If in the future you keep finding or seeing weird things, then I would talk to the doctor about it
