Here are books about Vampires that I know of:
1. Twilight and the sequel to it, New Moon, by Stephenie Meyer is great.
2. The Anita Blake: Vampire Executioner books by Laurell K. Hamilton are also great books. So far, there are fourteen books in the series.
3. The Dark-Hunter series by Sherrilynn Kenyon is also very good.
4. The Cirque Du Freak series by Darren Shan is an excellent series as well.
5. The Vampire Huntress series by L.A. Banks is also a must-read.

Vampires: The Occult Truth by Konstantinos Published 1996. Usually found in used bookstores and probably online.

One of the best vampire books that I have read so far, I would put this up there with Greer's book on Monsters. Greer has a chapter on vampires as well, but Mr. K covers the subject matter in more detail. In addition, he teaches some fairly simple and probably effective rituals that do not make my fundamentalist nerves twitch as much as Greer's does. Think of them as Unitarian form of ceremonial magic. Again, much of what Mr. K says seems dead on and he has some excellent stories, though I notice a discrepancy between what some people term as astral and etheric energy. For some, the terms seem almost interchangeable, though in my opinion there is some difference.

Laurell K. Hamilton's books are an all right read. Moon Called by Patricia Briggs has vampires in it. Sunshine by Robin McKinley is by far the best vampire book I have ever read. The Hendee's books - Dhampir, Thief of Lives, etc.are good. Anne Rice's Interview with a Vampire is about vampires, but is not my favorite. Here are just a few, I hope that this helps. If you need more, contact me, and I will be thrilled to give you a more complete list.

Beside the more popular one ( and I personnaly have a weakness for Anne Rice ) I've read a book called "Saint and Shadow" by Golden Christopher. A bit fantasy but well written.
