BIJU KRUSHAK VIKAS YOJANA: (B K V Y)

The new scheme Biju Krushak Vikas Yojana (BKVY) has been launched by the State Government in Water Resources Department with proposed outlay of Rs.1000.00 Crores to be spent in 5(Five) years 2000-2005 to irrigate an additional 2,40,000 hect.approximately. The implementation of the scheme actually started during the year, 2001-02. During the last 3 years, 2001-02, 2002-03 & 2003-04 the State Level Screening Committee constituted under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary, Orissa have approved the LIPs, the detail is given below:
