No, honey. Feed him when he's hungry. You play it by ear and pay attention to "what he tells you" even if he isn't really speaking yet. He can still communicate. Give him a variety of foods, milk and juices---slowly introducing new foods until he is eating a large variety of things. You can probably start using a sippy cup from time to time. Give him milk several times a day...but NOT every 2 hours. He'll get FAT.

Babies eat about every four hours, and some go even longer. A six month old should not be eating every two hours unless they have a medical condition or something. Babies will let you know when they're hungry. As for the baby food, if you don't know how often he's normally fed solids, it can be a problem if you introduce him to more than he's used to. Babies can get constipated if you give them more solid food than what they're used to. (and that can be very painful for them!) If you're unsure what to do, I would just give it to him once a day at first and then ease into more. A jar of baby food replaces a bottle of formula / breast milk. So if you feed him baby food for lunch, you shouldn't feed him again right away.

It depends on the baby. It's best to start out with just one meal a day then slowly work your way up to 3. My son is 7 months old and is eating two meals a day. He has a bottle when he first wakes up and then about two hours later he has some solids. He gets a bottle about an hour after that and then about every 2-3 hours depending on when he gets hungry and then about half an hour before his bed time he gets solid food for dinner. Don't worry about it too much...it really depends on your nephew and his appetite.

At 6 months he should have formula every three hours and baby food sometimes between the bottles. He probably won't eat too much of a baby food yet anyway.

Nope, however the acceptance comes frequently from pupils lodging at human beings's residences and being fed the main inexpensive and nastiest stuff the British supermarkets could desire to furnish. i'm a Spaniard residing in England, I cook dinner a mix of Spanish and English dishes and the relatives loves it. Fish and chips are an dazzling dish, yet while that's made in oil that hasn't been replaced for a protracted time, may be revolting. Bangers and mash, actual convenience foodwherever there replaced into some, yet back, if finished with maximum inexpensive sausages and prompt mash, extra healthful in simple terms for the garbage bin. See what I mean now?

My 8 month old eats every 2-3 hours from 6 am until 8 pm. He eats "solids" & a bottle at 12 noon and 6 pm...he's nursed at every other feeding. The child will let you know when he's hungry....at this age, he should still be fed on demand.

Yes, give him the baby food at breakfast, lunch & dinner. He can have the bottle to supplement in between the meals. He still needs the formula/breastmilk.

You can give him food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and give him bottles in between. At htis point my son was only getting about 3 or 4 bottles a day.

Feed him when he's hungry. As babies get older, often the time between feedings will get longer. It's also better to start with the baby food slowly.
