i would say it would be OK for late 20s or 30s thirties. The top would be better with jeans though. I personally don't like the color or style of it, since I am quite curvy and those tops look hideous on me. I look like I have maternity wear on when I have tried similar tops. However, I have a bunch of friends in their 30s and early 40s who pull it off very well. I think it you are tall and slender, pair it up with a nice pair of slim fit pants, some great funky sandals or platform wedges and you are good.

I love the top, I like tops of this style. However, I'm 25 and would save it for when I would be in my late 30's-early 40's or something. You can get tops this style but, well, in a more youthful style, like shorter and emphasising your curves more.
I generally like pants, but I hate these ones. With tops this style, you need jeans, or boheme skirts or whatever. This outfit mixes 'hippy' with 'classy', maybe that's why it makes such a bad impression, I'm sure the two pieces look much better worn separately (don't even think of wearing those shoes though :P at least I dont like them!)
hope it helps

I love the look of the kimono top with the black pants and sandals, overall. I'm not really too crazy of the particular style of the top, i'd go more for a traditional Japanese floral print, myself. But the basic idea of the outfit is nice and something i would wear. I love Asian inspired clothing.

Looks like outfits my grandmother wore in the 80's. If you want to be hippie chic you need to get better materials and change the pants.

If this was a cotton or silk top and you had a more vibrant pant or even a muslin skirt, it could be saved.... maybe.

I design clothing as a career and when I looked at the picture and it seems a bit missy. I would probably see this on a 30 year old, as long as you pair it with the right bottoms or skirt it works. Since its a busy print, I suggest no necklace, with cute earrings.!!!
