it's considered a hernia if your belly button sticks out during pregnancy... mine does but that's bcus prior to my pregnancy my belly button was 3/4 of the way in and 1/4 out. when the baby started to press against my belly it poked all the way out .. if i roll on my stomach while sleeping, i wake up to find my belly button in.... i'm assuming she moved during these times. so basically it doesnt happen to everyone and there is no set time when it should occur, it depends on the position of your little one and i'm assuming how big your bump gets.

I haven't yet gotten a big pregnant belly or gained weight and I am eighteen weeks. Not everyone has an outie belly. All three of my sisters never did and I would think it would vary with each woman.

My belly button never popped out! Mine didn't really change much either. Everyone is different. My sister-in-law said, "it like a turkey...when the belly button pops out you know it's done!" Ha. But my pregnancy was so different than "normal" I only gained 2 lbs and had a perfectly healthy baby!

My abdomen is troublesome, i'm 39 wks the following day, and abdomen button is an innie. i've got on no account had a stranger arise and inquire from me to touch my abdomen in any of my pregnancies, in the event that they did i don't think of i may well be tender adequate to enable them to.
