I got these 2 frogs my my 7th grade teacher and that was a few years ago.....and she never told me what kind they are..but...I was wondering if I tell you a little about them you could tell me?

They are dark green with black "Camo" on there backs... Their bellys are white.. they have "bubble" like eyes...They live in a tank of water (No land), they eat Shrimp Pellets, they are awake at night (most of the time) ,They like to stay still alot....they live in fresh water....they shed small amounts of their skin sometimes (smaller than the size of a penny), they are a little smaller than my hand (as big as my palm...almost) ....and thats about all I know

Are these something you bought in a pet store? The best that I think will fit this description is a pacman/pyxie frog. They're big, round, and eat a lot! They'll live in water, but also on land. See these photos and you can see if this is what they are: http://www.wnyherp.org/care-sheets/amphibians/pac-man-frog.php They come in several color patterns: http://www.gakuzan.net/amp/frogtodo_page/frog_todo_r0022.html

African clawed frogs are more grayish-brown: http://www.visualsunlimited.com/images/watermarked/428/428826.jpg
