God's desire for our lives is to have all his creation (us) to unite with him and his ways in love and peace. The two greatest commandments is to Love your God with all your heart and to love your neighbor as yourself. People who desire peace in their lives but can't seem to obtain it in the their own worldly way. Total lasting peace is not achievable without the acceptance of God and the salvation that Jesus gave us on the cross. After acceptance of Christ's sacrifice we are to become more like Christ by taking on the fruits of the spirit. We need to persevere against our sinful nature to make our election sure. Keeping in mind that as a believer we are forgiven of past,present and future sins are forgiven. We are also to reflect Jesus like lifestyle to others. Jesus is the Truth and the Light that shines in the darkness so you can get where you need to be. United with God on your day of atonement.
His role is our Father, Loving guide, Counselor and Friend.
