Why did the Egyptians draw their people flat?

You, know, they always made it so you could see the entier body. Olny the main look at each body part. Like with the hand; They drew it so you could see what It really looked like and not what it would have looked like from the angle the person was being painted in.

Well I don't think they reached there yet. Remember that caveman drawings were stick figures. Compared to the time they could be experts.
