Tattoos have not ever been "out" of style, but they have been more taboo in the past. As society becomes less and less inhibited, you will see more drastic forms of body art.
The only thing to keep in mind with all tattoo's and piercing’s, is that when you are 89 and in the nursing home, what things do you want your sponge bath nurse having to look at, or you explaining.

Something that is cute and hip today is great-but the one thing about tattoos-without expensive removal- they are forever! And they look ridiculous on older people. I have probably offended someone with my comment, but they do...If they do go out of style, plastic surgeons will have fuller bank accounts than they already do.

I have 13 tattoos and my only opinion is to only get one you are sure you will want 50 years from now. Each one I have means something special to me and I wouldn't want to remove one ever. If you are only getting one or thinking of getting one because they are in style....don't! This is permanent! If you laser remove one you wind up with a scar and it cost a fortune.

ya. but why would you get them just to follow a fad? i'll get one when they go OUT of style, because then i wont be following the freaking herd of people who copy everyone else. pathetic.

trust me they won't some ppl r obsessed w/ em and if their r 21 tatto piercing places in one street then I fairly doubt they would go outta style, + they always add cute designs and persuade ppl to buy!

they wont they will always have something new to say on ur body or a new fad or stlye that people want to be seen
