I am about to set up a 30 g. tank with many live plants. Which fish are good with plants? In other words, fish that wont eat them up.

Personally I like tetras, rasboras and Apistogrammas in live plant tanks. They don't usually harm the plants and don't mess with the gravel either. Do be careful to research the tetras and rasboras though as some are plant eaters.

Neon tetras are pretty cool and don't eat plants but they might be too small for a 30 gallon fish tank.

It extremely relies upon on the fashion of plant. you need to do a touch study to work out in case you may journey it as a lot as any pictures of stay, underwater flora. there is also the prospect the plant is contained in the incorrect style of water or around the incorrect style of fish. What style of fish is contained in the tank, or are there any fish? The tank would properly be too warm or too chilly for that express plant, or if there are fish, they might were eating/beating on it. There are some supplements you'll hit upon for underwater flora besides, in case you opt for to pay the money.

Small tropical fish, anything that schools.

Goldfish and Cichlids are out. They destroy planted tanks.

Beta fish is nice , but you can only have one male as they are chinese fighting fish.People will say you can't put them in atank with anything, but I have a beautiful blue one with alot of other fish and it doesn't mess with any of them.My beta will even come to the top of the tank at feeding time for me to pet him.Good luck
