It starts to thin out *all* bodily mucus whether from nasal or cervical, within 20 minutes of you taking it. We had the best results when we took it about 30-45 minutes before having sex around the time I ovulated. If it "dries you up" too much, you can use Olive Oil for lube. We tried Preseed for 6 months with no luck, but Olive Oil is very close in pH to sperm and there were more sperm after 60 minutes in Olive Oil than in the Preseed.

I heard that you need to take it two days before fertile time so 4 days before ovulation to thin the CM in time. Good Luck!!

I was told by a friend to take it 5 days before your counted ovulation starts.
