The simplest, cheapest, non-toxic and long lasting way is to use boric acid in powder form. It is safe and is even used as a antiseptic but it destroys roaches.

Just sprinkle it around where they tend to travel, especially baseboards and backs of cabinets. They pick it up on their feet and even transport it back to kill their buddies in hiding. The real beauty of it is that they can't develop a tolerance or immunity to it. It can be found at most home stores or grocery stores and it's cheap.
Good Luck!

I would go to Lowes or Walmarts and buy yourself a sprayer, about a gallon size should do it. Then buy some concentrated Dioxizin. It will get rid of Roaches, fleas, ticks, ants, spiders. I use it at least twice a year to spray the inside and outside of my house and it cost alot less than hiring an exterminator.

The best way is professionally, with chemicals.
I have known people to put peanut butter in the bottom of a tall jar and slather mayonnaise on the sides... then go into the jar and can't get back up. In the morning you put the lid on and throw them away... it really depends on how bad you have them.
Also, if you get rid of their food source... bleach the counters and floor daily, that may help.
Good luck!

I had trouble with them when I went to Florida and what I used and had great luck was moth balls. Every 7 days I put new ones in drawer and cupboards and behind fridge and stove

bug spray, bug bombs and spraying around the foundation
of the dwelling-- when that's done, top to bottom cleaning with
disinfectant ,soap and hot water. Keep ALL foodstuffs in sealed
containers and have roach motels available for return visits.
lots of luck

One way is to mix boric acid with wheat flour or atta, make dough and place it near sinks, crevices or wherever you are likely to find roaches. Roaches eat them but die soon.
