I am working on my 5th grade Endangered Animal report, and i NEED to know how many Bonobos (Pygmy Chimpanzee) are left!!! i need to know by MONDAY (March 5)

There are estimated to be between 5000 and 25000 bonobo left in the wild.

According to figures published in 2001, there may be about 30,000-50,000, which isn't a very big number for an entire species. For comparison, there are probably about 130,000-250,000 chimpanzees, and 112,000-128,000 gorillas. Check out the link below for more info.
