Belle, what kind of call center do you work at? Seems very volitale. I was a call center Manger for 8 years for 50 staff and would never fire someone for such a silly prank. I hope you no longer work there. My question seems like such a downer now.

You could let your imagination go wild with this one lol! One year we all played a prank on the boss and took it in turns to phone in sick, one after the other - it's even more convincing when you get your partner to do the calling because the boss will be polite, hilarious! Have a lot of fun, I'm going to enjoy reading all the answers too!

Any prank can be grounds for firing. Don't risk your job by pulling senseless pranks.
When I was working in a call center & in training, a few people pulled a harmless prank on the teacher by removing the batteries to his wireless keyboard & mouse, then replacing them with dead ones. It was funny to everyone, including him. They didn't return to training the next day. We overheard that they were fired for this prank.
Another call center & a few employees hid the manager's headset & Y-cord from her. She laughed right along with everyone & they were fired too, later that day.
Think about this, is your job really worth pulling a prank for a silly day?

One year someone brought a container of thick, green stuff to the ICU where I worked. He put it in a specimen cup and told everyone it came from the patient in room 10. Then he opened it up for us to smell. We were so grossed out, but it was just some toy of his kids.

Get all the staff to get in on it. Have someones grandmother are available faint, and drop a jar of pickles or something have him are available and function him restoration the undertaking then have the previous women folk yell "APRIL FOOLS!!!"
