Most of the questions i ask i can not decide on a best answer . Am i right if i let it go to a vote or should i decide for myelf even though there are so many good answers ? .. P.S not bothered about getting my 3points .. Just the perfect answer !

Yes, just decide for yourself. When it goes to a vote, people who answered don't usually care enough to come back to vote - the only ones who do just vote for their own answer. It's a broken system.

If you can't decide, you should flip a coin or something. Letting it go to voting may result in a stupid answer been picked as best. If I can't decide I sometimes look at their profile to see what kind of questions they have asked and answered, how many points they have etc etc.

DONT go for the vote - you asked, so you decide. Part of the fun is keeping the banter going and I enjoy answers that refer to previous Q's or A's.

i tend to decide myself and that is cos everytime i go to vote on questions (usually when i have used my limit to answer!) i nearly always find that the answer with the most votes is usually the 1st answer cos people do not take the time to look, and vote for the 1st one there which i totally disagree with, so i think deciding myself is fairer to the people who have taken the time to answer my question.
