It varies from person to person...You have to start taking it from cycle day 1 every morn before you get out of bed and day 1 is your baseline temp...when you see a rise it means ovulation has already happened..so basically its too late to conceive that particular month...you should use ovulation strips in combination with this method because ovulation strips will detect ovulation 24-48 hrs before it happens..so better chance at conception within that month..I will send you a link..it is very imformative...Good Luck!

Basal physique temp oftentimes follows this trend: era to ovulation-decrease temps. oftentimes below ninety seven.5. sometimes (and that i exploit this very gently) women folk have a temp dip good until now ovulation (many don't, however, so do not bypass by potential of this). The day after ovulation happens, your temp will upward thrust a minimum of .3 tiers and stay there. What you do then is you establish your 6 temps until now ovulation and then draw a line one degree above the utmost of the final 6 temps. it is named your coverline. as quickly as you have drawn that, your temps could stay, for the main section, above that until possibly an afternoon or 2 until now AF starts. I consistently have a temp dip 2 days until now af starts and then yet another one the day until now af starts and then much extra whilst af starts. in the journey that your temps stay intense 18 days or extra, opportunities are high you're pregnant. wish this facilitates! GL to you!

There is no specific range since each woman had a different base line temp. When you see a dip it usually means it is almost time for ovualtion and when it goes up you have ovualted. It is not that great for predicting ovualtion just basically for tracking ovulation. Good Luck!!
