Nail polish remover with acetone in it will take the sharpie off of the mirror. Just make sure you don't get any behind the glass (like on the silver part) because it will eat it away.

I know this sounds crazy but get the sharpie back out and go over the same line again ( small portions at a time) I don't know why this works but somehow it "re-wets" it. as soon as you have gone over the existing line rub it off with a paper towel. I know this sounds crazy but try a small spot... it works.... This also works on any non-porous surface. Good luck!!

I am in the cleaning business and here is our secret!
We buy this cleaning cloth off the internet. You have to buy in packages of 5 but they are only like $3 bucks a piece. I have ordered them and use them on everything, especially cleaning windows and clean mirrors. They are made out of tiny fibers. They are guaranteed not to scratch and all you do is rinse the cloth under water, wring it out and wipe ANY surface with no streaks or scratch. Use em over and over. I have not thrown one away yet!
I am sold on this ...I encourage you to try it out….hope this helps…Steve

Have you tried rubbing alcohol? I know it's good for ink stains. You might try hair spray, too.
