Im a big take that fan and have managed with great difficulty to get two tickets today for Manchester. It took me over three hours to get one. They have had to put on two more dates as they all sold out within 2 hours for all venues. I went on ebay just out of curiosity to see what all the fuss was about on the news about people buying and selling take that tickets at daft prices, only to discover that some person is bidding on 4 tickets for london concert for 99 grand!!!!! Are they for real? There is 54 bids on the tickets and there is still 10 hours to go. The others are going for grands aswell. This is madness!! Anyone else witnessed this on ebay? Im sure im seeing correctly my boyfriend also couldn't believe what he was seeing. Anyone else got any stories about trying to purchase tickets for the concert?

I was one of their biggest fans when I was a teenager..... Now that they're grown-up and have settled down,I think they've lost a bit of that charisma that drove us fans completely crazy. I went to their concert in Milan, and appeared also in the "Never forget" video :-D Anyway,I wouldn't trust ebay; it's a safe site, but sometimes things are really overpriced (in general)!!! Have u tried by posting announcements on Internet,on some forums maybe? My ex managed 2 find the tickets for a soccer match, and paid for them the price they costed, not a cent more. Good Luck! :-))

I am not really a Take that fan...although I love Shine.

I have seen this happen with a lot of tickets. Especially for "big name" artists or those that are likely to sell out quick. it's great if you have the money to buy the great "front row" tickets off ebay..but if not, it means that a lot of fans are stuck with no hope of getting good seats, when all these money making scammers are buying tickets by the boat load and reselling them. I think it will come to a stage where ebay may be banned from selling tickets...I don't know if that can be done but it doesn't seem fair at all. In saying that in the past I have paid over price for tickets on ebay...but nothing as extravagant as a grand! I did pay £250 for front row Ronan Keating tickets at one stage.

If I was paying 99 grand i would hope to be able to at LEAST meet the lads, not sit and watch them perform for an hour and a half in a hall with many people who may have only paid the normal £30-odd for their ticket!

I also had great difficulty getting tickets i had 5 phones on constant redial and was on the p.c too, i managed to get through after 2 hours but the operator told me all the concerts for Manchester had sold out and he could give me ones for Birmingham which i turned down, then he suggested that i carry on phoning up because more dates will be added. I done as he suggested and carried on phoning and lucky for me one of the phones had been put through so i was on hold for 15 Min's and then my call was accepted and i bought 2 block D tickets for the 21st of DEC, and like you out of curiosity i went on to eBay at 11:30 and i was shocked to find someone had bidded £10 million for 2 tickets and then 10 Min's later the seller had taken the tickets off. the touts are being outrageous. its not fair on the genuine fans who will not be able to attend the concert.....And because of the prices no one will bid on them so the tickets will be wasted because the touts don't even like the band!

I have got 6 tickets for block A2 3rd row back at the O2 arena so really good seats even though it took me an hour on the internet and 3 phone lines to get them! but I also heard about people buying them for stupid money so I was going to sell some and try and pay of my car!! but if you look on ebay now the tickets are only going for a couple of hundred but I think id rather see them if its not going to be life changing money so to speak! I personally wouldnt pay such prices but it sounds bad but if someone wanted to pay me that money for tickets id be glad to accept!.
