being a model, i know that all models are naturally more attractive than the average person. Makeup, hairstyling, clothing and computer enhancements are not what makes us beautiful. almost all women know that models in photos dont look as good naturally, because they were motivated to figure that out from jealousy. of course, i wish models looked perfect naturally to stop the cruelty. i also believe most women whom have a bad body image deserve it.

I'm not a model, I wish I were, but I know that models do look prettier than average and that you all have to work hard for your job. I think that it's not just jealousy but also all of this hype from the media about how girls starve themselves and are too skinny. I think that it makes most people that badly of models. Women with bad body image don't really deserve it in my opinion but they should know that they don't have to be uber skinny in order to look beautiful.

That makes no sense. Models started out and still are average people. GEEZ. Models are not GODS. The are normal people who model to make a living. And secondly it is the makeup and all the extras. If they were not models and have stylist and money, they would not look as good as they do in their pics. So, you need to tell her that you agree. Because she is a lot more correct then you are.
And you need an attitude and ego adjustment. That's one thing to be pretty on the outside, but its no good when you are hideous on the inside. And no one deserves a bad body image. Anyone who thinks that deserves it. People don't deserve to wake up in the morning and hate themselves, or bend over the toilet everyday because people like you think it is your duty and your right to put them down, because you believe that you are prettier than them.

not everyone is jealous of models, Most people can take pretty good pictures especially like you said if they are motivated. beauty is in the eye of the beholder think playboy. models do look good naturally or they wouldn't pay you guys so much. the camera and air brushing helps too. I would tell the girl that keeps telling you its make up that you believe it isn't. but first try to realize not everyone is jealous. maybe to her it is just makeup. people have different opinions. not all women who have a bad body image deserve it, you have a bad attitude. some have been abused and tolled their ugly from a young age, or raped. you need some love in your heart.

Hate to tell you this but I have seen some ugly models without makeup on!!!
I am gorgeous with makeup on and have been asked to model and did model when youinger but tell you what you wouldn't look twice at me when seeing me in street minus makeup!!
Get over yourself - its people like you that create girls having bulima and anorexia! There are some plus size models that are far more attractive then the skinny models

I model too... But there are many people out there who are just as pretty as models but just haven't been "spotted" or are simply not interested in the business. I dont' think it is jealousy that always makes people think this way...a lot of the behind the scenes stuff shows that they spend hours working on us, which isn't always the case...

Almost all photos of models are airbrushed to some degree--that is fact. It has nothing to do with jealousy. Models are very photogenic (otherwise they wouldn't be models) but not all are beautiful. Get over yourself.

I'm an actual model! and no WE are NOT better looking than most we are just photogenic! THATS IT . maybe she is not nice to you because you sound SO stuck up.
we look good in 2D thats it ....
maybe you need to do some self reflecting or just ask her what she really thinks of you.

I have to agree with you. Since I'm in the design industry, I know models who have natural looks are more succesful. That's how they get spotted or chosen by agency's. Those girls honestly probably don't know the model industry and maybe they're not smart enough to know so. Just smile and let it go.

Even Cindy Crawford doesn't look like Cindy Crawford without the makeup and the photo editing.
