Nope, not just you, it's a classic tearjerker especially for those of us who've been affected by child abuse.

ya i did cry & sometimes i still cry after i hear it..depending on the mood im in. thats a good song.

I didn't literally shed a tear, but those country songs are always so damn sad.
Very sad and touching song.
