my friend is always calling me big she is vietnamese and much smaller than me. I always laugh it off but lately it is really getting to me. I am really shy and have trouble speaking my mind to her, also I dont want her to think im jelous of her smaller frame. I cant loose weight cuz im already pretty lean 5'7 120 and most of that is in the right spots. so i dont want to get sick. how can i get her to stop subtly. im tall compared to most my asian friends and lokk small compared to my american friends. im half japanese so i feel big.!!!

hey i'm half asian too. and even at 5'3 and size 6 my asian friends use to act like i was fat too. what it really was was envy over my curves. so when your friend starts her nonsense don't laugh it off and don't get nasty with her and stoop to her level. just look her dead in the eye and tell her. "i know. i hate my phat @$$ and big #!#$. guys never appreciate me for my mind!" trust me, it"ll shut her mouth up

5'7" and 120 lbs is perfect. You must look nice. Your friend is wrong to call you "big". Has she been in this country long? Viets usually call others "big" without any malice. To them, it can even be endearing. If she hasn't been here long then she doesn't know that's not nice and she'll learn. If she has then she's doing that to hurt you. Either way, do tell her. Consider it a culture lesson to teach a newcomer.

Don't feel bad. I'm 5'5 and 120 pounds and i love it. don't want to be any smaller or bigger. Tell her that was she is doing is getting to you or making you feel bad. And if she is a true friend she will stop or even try to, but if she don't she don't a real friend.

Your weight and height go together well.I could tell you way to get her to stop teasing you, but it would be mean.Well here goes.When she tells you that you are big, tell her that adleast you will be able to shop in the women's section for your clothes and not in the kids....Some times people that are jealous of others make fun of them, she is the one jealous,so let her be.I would tell her that you don't appreciate her calling you names, and then tell her that two can play that,so it needs to stop.Hope this helps,stay the way you are.

oh Hun you are the perfect model size so what is she even talking about i bet you look great
so here is what you say when she says your big tell her that you like your frame and how your body looks and so do the guys cus guys dont want a stick they want a curvaceous girl like you and me
and if she doesnt stop then all you have to say is "stop saying that please" and that's its nothing else
and trust me 120 pounds is small you want to look like a woman and not a stick so dont starve yourself cus you are just great the way you are

Who cares what people think, im half japanese too. im 5'5 120. i dont care what other people think about me. If they dont like how i look, then i say "dont look at me" im a very straight forward person so i hope this doesnt sound rude. Just be proud of who you are.

do u know how many wud love to be as tall and beautiful as you? just tell her to her face not to call you big cuz it upsets u. tell her u dont appreciate it. people are made in all color sizes, shapes. u are beautiful and so is ur friend. so just tell her to leave the size issues out of conversations.
