how do I burn dvds to 8x blanks?

My burner works fine with dual layer dvds,but I can't get it to write to a 8x disc.

get dvd shrink, its free. Then go to download.com and get a free burning tool. First run dvd shrink to open the dvd then back it up to your computer. Then burn those files through whatever program you choose. Good luck.

Found that problem too.Don't use 8x use 16x.Mine is a dual layer too and they are expensive to use.I found a program that burn's to 16x dvd-r dvd+r.Not thru nero if that's what you use,it s****. Get dvd decrypter,and dvd shrink.They work together.
