NERO has a nasty habit of putting info in the register.
The reason is so that you do not run a demo, uninstal it before the time runs out and then install it again. Those sneaky little devils, protecting their property rights.
Plus, many programs will not let you install an older program over a newer version and your computer still thinks you have Nero 7 demo installed.
Run a registry cleaner or do it your self.
It will be a key pointing to a program that is no longer there.

I think nero autoloads on startup so that if you put a disk in, it can see if its recordable and pop up to manage it under nero rather than windows.
If you Alt-Ctrl-Del you can bring up task manager and see if its there as an application or process . You can exit it, then right click in the start menu and the startup subfolder to delete.
Not sure of this version , but if that doesn't work check in Control Panel | Services to see if its loaded that way.
Not for the faint hearted but you also see if it is being loaded in a hidden way in the registry. If its safe for you to try you will understand. If you dont know what I mean, dont try.

Contact Nero's maker
They will hav had the problem show up before. They'll know what you need to do to clean up the uninstallation of the demo.

Restart your pc then try again.
Most applications fail to be removed as the system thinks it is in use. A restart should resolve the problem.
Failing this you can always remove the folders manually from your hard drive found in "My computer"

Use 2 nicely suited antivirus kit like in case you have AVG or Kaspersky as a considerable risk-free practices device; shop one nicely suited version of Immunet Plus (as that's nicely suited with Kaspersky or AVG and could not reason any conflicting undertaking). you will have adequate risk-free practices from virus and malwares.
