As an expat myself, I can honestly say that I couldnt move further than a 2 hour flight away, so I can get back home quickly if I need to - it is lonely living in another country and its hard emotionally.

Its a bit risky, what happens if you dont like the job or the country?, have you got a fall back plan?
You need to seriously consider this, can you handle only seeing your daughter every eight weeks? It depends how old she is I suppose.
Good luck and I hope everything works out brilliant for you.

I think it depends on the age of your daughter. If she young then you should stay at home as you will see her alot and if you went to Dubai, she won't understand why, she would be very disappointed cos she won't see you as much as she would like to and what if in time she forget who is her dad. You do have a good job here. It's all very well to say double salary, etc but you might it hate out there Remember money doesn't bring happiness
If your daughter is older, then I'll say you should go, she can always visit you on holidays and plus she will understand

That's a hard question. If you're better off in Dubai then maybe you should go. Maybe try it for a year and see if it suits you and your daughter. If it is too much to be away from her then just come back. But if you don't try it you will never know. Good luck!

Depends how old your daughter is. I'd normally say do it, but you have a responsibility and you can't just up and leave the country semi-permanently if your daughter needs you.
I'm not saying she does, I'm just saying if she does, it's a bit selfish to leave.
You're bound to drift apart as well if you go so far away, so bear that in mind.

My son went to Dubai for a while to work and loved it. You could go, make your fortune, take your daughter on great hols there, and come back and get another good job.
And remember... pro nouns are actually pronouns.

Ok think about which would affect you and others you care for the most, then which job is more interesting, then the money. In my opinion it would be Dubai for me, but hey... it's your life, job, good luck and congrats anyways
