I have heard people use "crashing" to describe a number of different phenomena. Is it freezing? Are you getting error messages? Is it shutting itself off?

How often is it doing it? (Please include some indicator of time, such as "several times a day" or "about twice a month" as opposed to just "a lot.") What are you doing when it happens? Which applications are running? How do you recover when it occurs (do you have to restart, wait half an hour, etc.)?

What kind of Mac is it? What version of the OS is it running?

If you can answer those questions, we might be able to help more.

contact mac support. and ask them what is causing the problem, it could be anything that is crashing the computer, you did not mention if your running windows on it,
