We have three parties in Canada committed to a sustainable green economy; the Liberals, the NDP and the Green Party. Harpers plan is a poor shadow of the Liberal plan they disbanded and that plan hadn't had much of a chance to get stated in the first place!

Ralph Kline is on the traveling comittee for Canada's enegry concerns. Wow! He's the one that made sure Alberta isn't prepared to go green by backing the oil and coal boys! That is really encouraging news...

I think we need environment to be a local issue. All this Warmist crap is unseating good policy and replacing it with "carbon tax". Poor people will suffer taxes that they cannot afford, and rich people will still get to play.

Harper? Probably not. A shame really...he could so easily change his ways. What's REALLY scary is that he is holding steady in the polls. What really needs to happen is for CANADIANS to go green. The Liberal plan is only marginally better than the Conservatives, and the NDP plan for the environment has never really been realistic. Only the Green Party really has realistic plans for how to have a sustainable green economy. The Liberals and Conservatives look to the Americans as a role model (cough cough), and the NDP tries to come up with their own ideas. Only the Greens have had decades of planning, and are part of a Global Green movement that is experienced in politics, with Green members sitting in the parliaments of other countries.

If your average Canadian decides to vote Green Party in the next election, instead of blindly following the bidding of the playground-bullying-style Conservative attack ads, then perhaps we won't be in so much trouble!

It's politics so you know that nothing is going to get done.....no matter how much effort you put into it! This is a subject with too little information and not enough care! Sorry, good luck!
