Would anyone NOT reccommend purchasing a reconditioned/Clearance phone on contract (as opposed to new)?

I wouldn't have a problem, but if internet etc was important to me I'd want to check how many times it had been set up and whether it had too many profiles ... can be a problem if you dont have all the pins.

For kids, the problem is it wouldn't be this months model.

I'd normally get a used phone without a contract. It doesnt cost much to have it unlocked to use on whatever network you prefer.
