To be honest, I think it is something we all have a tendency toward. I think that anyone who says they are 100% unprejudiced is lying. It's been said that admission is the first step to recovery, so I think a frank, open discussion on this topic is a good way to adress the problem rather than simply ignore it. Please, share your thoughts on this subject.

I don't believe I am truly prejudiced, but I think we all stereotype wether we mean to or not. It's just human nature to go with what has been ingrained in your mind. For example, if I were to drive into a "ghetto" neighborhood, I would probably lock my doors and get out of there as fast as I could. I do not know the people in that area, but I have been taught from birth that only bad people live in those areas. I'm sure some of them are worth ten of the snooty rich kids who live in the huge gated communities. The rich kids probably try to go there to buy drugs.
We might not all think we are prejudice, but we are in the fact prejudice because we stereotype everyone.

I completely agree with you. WE all know when we see an Afican-American with big gangsta clothing they are a bad person. In addition when we see an asian we think they're smart. When you think of landscapers you think of hispanics because you think they do the hard work. I believe your stament is true.

People like other people that are similar to themselves. That's just the way we are. It's ok as long as we don't hurt others b/c of their differences. We don't have to like everyone.

I agree. There's going to be something in this world for everyone that they are prejudice against, whether they know it or not.
