It's not as simple as that. Fascism comes in many flavours. For instance, General Pinochet was a fascist by most accounts but he was for a small government (as far as economical intervention is concerned). In fact, a lot of high profile Conservatives, such as Margaret Thatcher, openly supported him. Fascists such as Mussolini on the other hand were more on the socialist side.

Because in all honesty, Bush is a fascist! You might not be but he is! Unfortunately for the American people we are given a choice between socialism and fascism! I vote for the third...FREEDOM! Please go research the libertarian party! It will help you understand competitive markets, moral freedom, liberty, anti-socialism, and anti-fascism! This world is possible but not if the uneducated masses continue voting for democrats and republicans! This country is doomed and nethier side knows why!!! ~ Libertarian

A facist is for big government? I agree!

George W. Bush & the Repube-controlled Congress gave us the biggest government, the biggest deficit, & the biggest debt in U.S. history.

Didn't you just answer a question saying socialists are as bad or worse than Nazis? Hypocrite.

And yeah - I understand both. You resemble a fascist. Deal with it.

Would you guess that socialism would create a larger or smaller gov't.? If larger, which it would, wouldn't it be fair, according to your definitions and conditions, to call a socialist a fascist?
