The kind on your nails- What are they for, et cetera?

They are the skin growth that surrounds the base of your nails. They have to be pushed back or removed before applying the base coat polish during a manicure or pedicure process.

Cuticles are at the bottom of r nail with a feeling of 1 round lump
protecting & deviding r nail from r finger. It's most healthy to push them back not to see. As r nails grow so do they, so each time you wash r hands, consintrate on pushing them balk, as well if you're putting cream on r hands, push them baxk, it's good hygeine & if u wear nail polish they will stand out as a real manicured person, whi takes care of herself. Men like that.

I'm pretty sure they serve as a protection from infections - defending the dirt & grime from getting into your bloodstream. I'm sure they also play a part in holding your nails on your fingers.
