Ihave no problems ripping audio CD,s into MP3 format but when I want to compile and burn a MP3 CD nero will for some reason place the track in a random order onto the CD even when I have compiled a play list in the order that I want to hear the tracks played any ideas please?

tried the alphabetical order trick it still buggers up the playlist but thanksfor the input !

THANX FOR TRYING BUT SORTED IT MYSELF I HAVE STOPPED USING NERO TO COMPILE MY DISCS I NOW USE AN OLD PROGRAM THAT HAS FOLLOWED MY EVERY P.C SINCE MY FIRST WHICH HAD WINDOWS M.E THE PROGRAM IS SO OLD THAT IT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH XP BUT IT LETS ME COMPILE MY OWN MP3 LISTS WITHOUT ALTERING IT THIS OLD DONKEY OF A PROGRAM IS ROXIO WINONCD vers 6

If I remember right, Nero puts the files in alpha order when burning.

A way around it is to rename the file to 1_blabla and the the next you want to 2_blabla, etc. Then the order on the cd will come out like you wanted.
