what if a woman falls in love with a guy that has four wives and she wants to be part of his family and be his fifth wife? do you think that's wrong and can you tell me why?
i'm doing an article about polygamy in my school newspaper and i really appreciate the help a lot!

I'm probably weird by thinking it is not wrong. I have known people who loved more then one and the wifes usually are not unhappy... if it works... I think it is ok. rules say sometimes otherwise, but I think some people have so much love to give, or so much trouble to stay with one wife or hubby, that they need more. Even I have wondered sometimes if the world at any time thought polygamy normal...??

Yes, I feel it's wrong. It was condoned in the Old Testament, but was not in the New Testament. It's committing adultery under the same roof.
I don't think it's fair to the children, they will get teased and ridiculed.
I think it's a way for a man to have his own little heir-om and call it a family.
