It's the way they have been brought up. I have never heard anyone say they wanted to see Clinton get shot. I did not like Clinton but he was my president and I supported him. I do not understand why Bush can not get the same respect

No one called for the death of clinton.
Its true, there is a greater degree of hatred towards bush than most previous presidents. I attribute this to our wartime era. When we are a nation at war, the stakes rise and so do the passions.

I don't think people seriously want that. There seems to be a lot of jawing off on the internet, mainly just trying to get a rise out of the opposition.. I'd just ignore it..
There are people saying it about Clinton too.. Not just Bush for the person above. I've even heard it about Carter..hell, I even heard one con say that JFK got what was coming to him and that the country needed his assasination... Don't try and say it's only libs doing it..

A lot of people think it's the only way. Wasn't it suggested by cons that Hussein had to be dead to bring change to Iraq... and that Castro has to die before change can come to Cuba... I don't think so!

Elected twice by more than 50 % of the citizens. Arrested peoples on Guantanamo without rights, "arrested" us citizens in the states during Katrina. Just reasons to love and support him. They should change the constitution, not for Arnold, for a third term. We should give him enough time to bomb the whole middle east.

I don't want to see him dead! I am just counting the days until he and Cheney are out of office.

Because "enlightened, open minded" libs don't like him so he should therefore die. BTW I don't like his policies either but I have never wished death to him or to Bill Clinton who's policies I felt were socialist.

To wish for the death of anyone is playing God and evil. I don't wish the death of anyone, even those hateful people, but I'll bet lots of people have the same wish for them.
