Dude! Wake up! This isn't "Chasing Amy", she is GAY. I am sorry man, I don't mean to sound like an asshole, but its just that you are wasting your time. Barking up the wrong tree, ya know? You will end up getting hurt, its like a woman falling in love with a gay man. They are easy to fall in love with because they are just so darn fabulous, but ITS NEVER GONNA HAPPEN between you two.

I had the same situation a few months ago. That is why I came to this site - to see HOW or WHAT I could do to change her. I, too, was ignorant of the situation but have since educated myself thanks to the people here.
You are a straight guy. If a gay guy asked you out, what would you say ? (Probably that you were not interested !).
If he asked you out again, what would you tell him ? (Probably, in a bit meaner way, that you are not interested !).
Now, what would the gay guy have to do, or say, to get you to go out with him ? (You probably answered to yourself that there is NO WAY in hell that you would go out with him, no matter what he said, or what he did !)
That scenario is the same as the lesbian. There is no way in hell she will go out with a guy - or she, by definition, is not a lesbian.
Take my advice, and do what I did. Talk to her, and tell her that you want to be friends - very good friends - and nothing more. And then, follow that.
If you try to "make a move on her', you will probably lose her completely. I don't think you want that - I know I didn't.

You're like a silly straight girl with her "gay best friend" crush. As with that scenario, you CANNOT "CONVERT" a homosexual. Get over yourself and the significance of your "manflesh" and find a nice, sensible girl to screw your head on straight.
Sorry... I'm in a mood...

If she is your friend, she will remain your friend. if you don't know her as a friend you will not ever be past friends with her. This is life, like One and only stated... Not the movie Chasing Amy so the woman you desire will not see you in a romantic way. If you value her as a friend let it be that and maybe she will match you up with a girl whom is just like her, but not into her or bi

They see men as competition, some even have a hostility
toward men. I use to work with some, and they were always
ready to challenge men, not the way heterosexual women
do. She would probably be resentful if you approached her.
