i am on birthcontrol and had unprotected sex about a week before my period..i got my period regular time im just nervous still. do you think i have a high chance of being pregnant?

You can get pregnant ANYTIME you have sex. even if you use birth control you can still get sex. DO NOT have sex unless your ready to be a parent! you cant imagine how much work and responsibility babies are. NO form of birth control is 100% effective! keep that in mind. Concentrate on school and getting a good education and worry about sex in 10 year or so when your mature enough to make adult decisions and accept the consequences

You are probably not pregnant
If you are having sex, and do not want to get pregnant, this is what to do
1. Keep using your birth control
2. Never have sex without an condom
3. Always use spermicide
If you do all three, every time you have sex, you should not get pregnant
The only 100% way of not getting pregnant, is not having sex

I don't know, I'm not a doctor! Talk with your doctor, and remember this, there is no such thing as 100% birth control. There will always be a small risk of getting pregnant each time you have sex with someone.

well. glad u are on birth control...but where is the 2nd protection of using a CONDOM???? still there is the chance of AIDS...u can get pregnant while taking birth control so the answer is: go take a pregnancy test and then use the #1 effective precaution:

Not a high one, but anytime you have unprotected sex, there is a chance.
I would say that you are okay though, unless you had antibiotics or diarhea shortly before sex, they would stop it working effectively.

no not really... but how long have you been on birth control, it takes up to a month to be in your system... if you are still worried about take a pregnancy test and if it comes up negative have your guy WEAR PROTECTION to diminish the chance of getting pregnant!
