You have the best team I have seen this year......but take out Barry Bonds, he will make your team's average go down, hits per atbats go down.

Your team speed is good, but not great - 5/12 (5th place)
HR/RBI/R are good - 5/12
Avg may be a problem - 7/12
SP very good - 3/12
Saves - 7/12

You have a 4th - 6th place team depending on how competitive your league is. And lets not rule out the injury bug.

Saves - Otsuka lost his job to Gagne (who may well get hurt).
Starters - another starter at least - you need depth

Shore up the offense. You do not have a lot of depth if someone gets hurt (Bonds/Rolen). You have more quantity on the bench, and you need quality. Another DH also would not be a bad idea, I like outfielders there.

Drop - Cabrera, Polanco, Kendall, Blalock, Otsuka
Add - OF (1-2)/RP (2)/SP (1-2)

I bet Rich Aurilia is available, while not great shakes, he is eligible at every infield position, and he should bat 3rd in a good lineup.

Leave your pitching staff alone for now. Otsuka may be valuable if Gagne goes out.
Your entire bench needs an overhaul. Kendall is a catcher, keeping 2 of them is death. Polanco won't help you much, monroe could be bench bound as he struggles to hit .260. O Cab is worthy of a spot, he will contribute 20 SB's but not much else. Bonds takes self appointed days off so you'll need a back up. Cuddyer can kill you on BA if he starts to slump. Rolen dies off in July so you may end up playing Hank at 3B for July and Aug. You can still find surprises on the waiver wire if you look. Garrett Anderson may still be avail and will be good for .300/20hr/96 RBI's this year. Jonny Gomes is a forgotten name that will improve this year. Speed guys like Chris Burke are sometimes overlooked. Lately this one has been snapped up - Chris Duncan in St Louis hit 22 HR's in 90 games playing part time. As a starter this year he could approach 40 HR's hitting in an RBI spot behind Pujols and Rolen. Just don't play him against LHP.

But look for upgrades to Polanco, Kendall and Monroe.

to be honest with you, you need help I don't see any home run hitters except Paul Konerko and Grady Sizemore. you have taken great risks with mostly all your players Rolen, Bonds, Blalock, Kendall. You should switch your SS and take blalock out of your utility spot and put Monroe in. don't drop Blalock until you see him doing nothing for your team. now your pitchers are pretty good but you better hope Mariano Rivera age dosen't catch up with him and Willis repeats his 2005 number not his 2006 numbers. Barry Zito looks good in spring traning so far but he needs to be back to his ace form during the season. as for Valverde he is really unstable and you should look in to another RP

Why would you draft Bonds. He sucks and he doesnt play a whole lot of games. Drop him for someone decent. Also, you drafted good pitchers at the beginning but u could have gotten guys like Millwood Garcia Maroth and possibly garland that late in the draft. You drafted a lot of old guys and ur back up catcher sucks. I think he went something like 1000 at bats without a homerun. Other thatn that ur team is kinda good id give it a 5 out of 10

much like most people, you have too many offensive players and not enough pitchers. you cant start all your batters anyway and you wouldnt make major adjustments to your regular lineup anyway. so why not draft more pitchers? they pitch every 5th day and gives you a better chance to get more wins and ks. with that said, you should get another closer, i dont know if otsuka is closing or gagne. but you should get another RP anyway to win the saves cats. zito wont get many wins or ks. willis doesnt have much support. your offense lacks power. blalock was bad last year, bonds might not be healthy, rolen is old and might get injured again. you need more HR power and RBI power.

Great Pitching staff and very good infield. With the exception of Sizemore and Cuddyer you need to shore up your OF and BN situation.
